STRUCTURE HISTORY
Alethos Initiative was initially developed during Garfin’s time at World Information Transfer (WIT). Alethos has since pursued its own independent nonprofit status. During that period, some Alethos materials referenced WIT and Alethos's pending 501(c)(3) status, however all Alethos processes and IP are Alethos’ and not WIT’s.
Alethos Inc. subsequently received recognition from the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity, effective November 24, 2025. Alethos now operates under its own nonprofit entity, Alethos Inc., EIN 39-4830567.

OUR GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE
We expect board members to make meaningful commitments to Alethos and fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities to the organization. The Interim board will be publicly announced in the very near future.
We expect full board members to give in the future and commit to fiduciary duty to the organization.
